MRS. SUSAN MURRAY - SOLOMON - Financial Controller/Corporate Secretary

Mrs. Susan Murray-Solomon is the Financial Controller/Company Secretary of Agostini Insurance Brokers Limited. Her responsibilities include all issues relating to financial and corporate secretarial activities, as well as co-ordination of the Company’s strategic planning process and initiatives.

Mrs. Murray-Solomon possesses over twenty-five (25) years experience in auditing, accounting, treasury management and budgeting having worked both locally and in the United Kingdom with various organizations in the Private Sector.

Mrs. Murray-Solomon is a Fellow of the Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (UK), a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago and a graduate of the Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) at UWI/ Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.
MR. ANTHONY CHARLES - Corporate

Mr. Anthony Charles joined Agostini on September 21, 1999. Prior to joining the Company, Anthony was employed in the capacity of Senior Account Executive, and as the Technical Assistant to the Executive Director of Marketing/Broking of a major brokerage firm. Anthony has worked in the insurance industry for twenty-four (24) years and is versed in all classes of insurance business, namely, Property, Pecuniary, Energy, Marine, Aviation, Transport, Liability, Personal Accident and Ordinary Long Term.

During his tenure in the insurance industry, Anthony has attained the Scholarship Training Programme Certificate (STPC), Certificate in Risk Management from the London School of Insurance, Trinidad & Tobago Insurance Institute Diploma in Insurance (Dip Ins), Associateship (ACII) and Fellowship (FCII) status of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) of England. Anthony’s thesis “Trade Liberalisation and its impact on the Insurance Industry in Trinidad and Tobago” has enabled him to become the only broker in the industry with the Fellowship status.

Anthony is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner, lectures at the Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Institute and is a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Institute Council.
MR. KIERAN SUTHERLAND - Marine

Prior to joining the Company on May 01, 1994, Mr. Sutherland was a Senior Account Executive at another Insurance Broking firm. He was at that time responsible for the servicing of major private sector and state enterprise accounts, and was previously the Superintendent of the Marine Department at one of the largest local Insurance companies.

His areas of expertise include oil and gas, hull, cargo and liabilities. Kieran has over twenty-four (24) years' experience. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) of the United Kingdom and holds the title of Chartered Insurance Practitioner.
MR. ARMSTRONG PHILOGENE LEON - General Insurance Division - St. Lucia

Mr. Armstrong Leon holds an Associateship (ACII) from the Chartered Insurance Institute of London and is a Chartered Insurance Broker. He holds an International Diploma in Management Studies from Cambridge University with distinction and he is a member of the Chartered Management Institute of London, Faculty of Insurance Broking, and the Faculty of Claims.

Armstrong’s career in the insurance industry spans over sixteen (16) years in which he has considerable experience in handling all classes of general insurance and the placement of risk in the international market place. Armstrong’s expertise concentrates in the areas of Property, Motor, Liability, Accident and Claims Management. He specializes in the management of major private sector and multinational accounts, and is also heavily involved in the development of new business.

Mr. Leon is the executive designated and assigned to coordinate and administer all operational issues arising from the management of portfolio of risk for key accounts.
MRS. MAIRI LOW - Financial Controller/Corporate Secretary - St. Lucia

Mrs. Mairi Low joined AIB in December 1996. Her responsibilities include all areas of financial and corporate secretarial activities.

She has a wealth of experience in the field of finance, with a background in auditing and accounting having worked both locally and in the U.K. with the firm of PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Mairi is a Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ACA), a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Eastern Caribbean and a graduate of The University of Liverpool B.A. (Hon) Accounting.
